A Bulgarian Service Company known for standardised deliverable of services had been keen to make their inspection coordination efficient. An internal application had to be developed for enhancing the coordination between various Admin, Inspectors and Managers.
An aim to create an experiential functional mobile app with technical improvements from the existing basic website.
The website was built years back just to input data and mark assignees. It had various de-merits in the experience point of view as well as technical point of view, which we strived to improve.
WHAT WAS THE PROBLEM?
Many internal inspection personnels were using the website to input the quality check data after the inspection. With time lag in-between inspection time and data capture and with possibilities of multiple errors, the efficiency is very low and also causing various problems such as delays. Website is unable to perform various functionalities which can be useful to inspectors if available.
WHAT WAS EXPECTED?
A revamp of the existing basic website that captures few data points and logs maintained; into a mobile app with multiple possibilities along with data capture, data track, data storage, real time data input was intended. To ensure there isnt any delay or data error eventually.
WHAT WE ENJOYED?
Along with solving the issue we enhanced the user experience through Gestalt Theories to improve navigation and user experience of the app. This would in turn make it very efficient, effective and intuitive creating pleasant experience.
